FUNDING

PARADISEC's main funding support has come from the Australian Research Council's LIEF programme. We are also sponsored by the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne, the Australian National University, the University of New England and Grangenet.

Between 2005 and 2011 we were not funded by the ARC and enabled the facility to accept philanthropic assistance. To this end we have incorporated PARADISEC and successfully obtained Deductible Gift Recipient status, which means that you can make tax-deductible donations to PARADISEC (Inc).

We have received funding from a variety of other competitive grant sources and from occasional consultancies (for further details, see our 2005 Public Profile document, available from the downloads page).

We are keen to secure ongoing long-term funding for our repository. If you have any good ideas please e-mail us.
