{"id":6416,"date":"2012-03-05T04:03:31","date_gmt":"2012-03-04T17:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/?p=6416"},"modified":"2012-03-05T04:03:31","modified_gmt":"2012-03-04T17:03:31","slug":"3l-summer-school-in-lyon-france-july-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/2012\/03\/3l-summer-school-in-lyon-france-july-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"3L Summer School in Lyon, France, July 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/3L_logo.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/3L_logo-150x150.gif\" alt=\"\" title=\"3L_logo\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6481\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fourth International Summer School of the 3L Consortium (Lyon, London, Leiden) will be hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ddl.ish-lyon.cnrs.fr\/led-tdr\/index.asp?Action=Edit&#038;Langue=FR&#038;Page=Home\">LED-TDR team<\/a> (Langues En Danger-Terrain, Documentation, Revitalisation), members of the DDL and ICAR laboratories (University Lumi\u00e8re-Lyon 2 and ENS Lyon, France), from 1st to 13 July 2012.<\/p>\n<p>It follows on from the highly successful 3L Summer Schools in  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ddl.ish-lyon.cnrs.fr\/AALLED\/Univ_ete\/Summer_school.html\">Lyon 2008<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hrelp.org\/events\/3L\/index_fr.html\">London 2009<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hrelp.org\/events\/3L\/leiden2010\/\">Leiden 2010<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The 2012 3L Summer School will concentrate on the theme of <i>Endangered Languages Revitalisation<\/i>. The main objective will be to create a space of reflection in an academic setting on the growing number of projects of revitalisation around the world. Based on an analysis of current and planned projects, it will promote a critical outlook on fieldwork in contexts of language revitalisation. The summer school includes lectures, courses and workshops, and thematic evening events, and sessions will be available in English, French and Spanish. It includes an <i>International Conference<\/i> on 6th and 7th July entitled: \u201c1992-2012: twenty years of research on language endangerment\u201d with the participation of international researchers, and of the main institutions involved in issues of language endangerment.
