{"id":3688,"date":"2008-05-13T08:22:57","date_gmt":"2008-05-13T08:22:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/2008\/05\/chirac-foundation-sponsors-endangered-languages-event\/"},"modified":"2011-02-05T07:49:19","modified_gmt":"2011-02-05T07:49:19","slug":"chirac-foundation-sponsors-endangered-languages-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/2008\/05\/chirac-foundation-sponsors-endangered-languages-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Chirac Foundation sponsors Endangered Languages event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recently established <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jacqueschirac.fr\/la-fondation\/\">Fondation Chirac<\/a> in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quaibranly.fr\/\">Mus\u00e9e du quai Branly<\/a> and Unesco is organising a one-day public event to be held on Monday 9th June in Paris called &#8220;SOROSORO pour que vivent les langues du monde!&#8221; (SOROSORO long live the languages of the world! ). <i>Sorosoro<\/i> in the Araki language of Vanuatu means &#8220;breath, word, language&#8221;.
