There looks to be an interesting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcsnet.edu.au\/summerfest06\/summerschool\">line up of courses<\/a>. I&#8217;m hoping I can head along to the courses on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcsnet.edu.au\/node\/1141\">Bayesian Networks and Markov Models<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcsnet.edu.au\/node\/1137\">Statistics for Linguistics<\/a> amongst others.<br \/>\nI heard that Trevor Johnston&#8217;s course on sign languages was excellent. I&#8217;ll definitely be going along to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcsnet.edu.au\/node\/1134\">that one.<\/a><br \/>\nAnd&#8230; OK so this is a shameless plug: I hope <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcsnet.edu.au\/node\/1133\">Introduction to Fieldwork Methods<\/a> will be fun \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Registration for the Human Communication Sciences Network SummerFest06 (Nov 27th &#8211; Dec 1st) opens today.
