{"id":10291,"date":"2026-03-02T16:02:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T06:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/?p=10291"},"modified":"2026-03-02T16:11:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T06:11:09","slug":"offline-static-collections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paradisec.org.au\/blog\/2026\/03\/offline-static-collections\/","title":{"rendered":"Offline static collections"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following the earlier discussion of creating collections for offline delivery (particularly on Raspberry Pi), we now have a simple method that indexes a set of items from the PARADISEC collection and generates an html view, which means that files are not disconnected from the catalog in the way they were in the past. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this, you put your files and their associated RO-Crates on a hard disk, then run the indexer which creates the html viewer. This presents a catalog of just the items on the hard disk, and plays media or shows images as you can see in the screenshots below.
