| Description | This series contains correspondence between Rev William Gunn and Rev W. Watt concerning Malekula Island’s ethnology (local games and beliefs, for example) as well as some linguistics of the local language. Malakula Island is located at 16.30° S and 167.50° E in the Pacific Ocean region of Melanesia. Is second largest island of the archipelago of the New Hebrides and is a constituent part of the nation of Vanuatu. For more information: An alternate spelling of Malekula Island is Malakula Island.
